thanks guys ! I am going to do a complete re scape soon but Im thinking it may not happen til after the holidays. The current scape u see now is a stripped down version due to a big trim and some i just completely removed just because i did not like the plant. I hope I can keep the branchwood in the next layout but we will see. I will be using branch wood and yamaya stone. My goal is a simple clean look with not too many different plants. we shall see

got the itch to get something going on the tank so I stripped everything down in preparation for the rescape. I moved the branch wood to where I think I want it. Next Im going to remove the aquasoil...

I'm going to redo the scape and to do it right I'm going to start fresh with new aquasoil and sand

I was going to do the rescape today but ups never came with the ada sand I'm waiting for. I will prob do it early next week..

I am happy with the layout. I think it will really look nice when it fills in. I never cleaned the pipes or tank as you can see. I hope to get it cleaned up soon. Sorry for the crappy cell phone pics. It was convenient at the time. I will get some good pictures up soon.

Yea i do rotala mexicana green i think is what they are called...they are short so they don't show in the picture

How do u keep the soil and sand seperated? I tried once an it was an epic fail
