Thanks for checking out my tank.
Sorry for not giving the step by step beginning of my project but, I didn't even think about starting a journal until I joined this wonderful forum! I did, however, take process pictures beginning with the day I got my plant and hard ground shipment from aquarium plants.com. The tank has been cycling since early September and the plants have been planted since early October.
Below is the rundown of my setup.
Ph: 6.5-7.5 depending on time of day with CO2 injection
dGh: off the scale (im amazed it even forms a liquid)
Temp: 75 degrees F
Tank and Stand:
-40 gallon Tall (30" by 12" by 24") rimless Seaclear acrylic tank,
-Pet smart stand, I plan on building my next stand when I do an upgrade but, this one does the trick for now.
-Marineland C220 canister filter
-Glass Lily Pipe Intake and Outake
-60 lb. Eco-Complete
-30" Finnex Ray 2 dual 7000k LED fixture mounted directly to the rim. (10 hr. cycle)
-30" adjustable BuildMyLED High Light 90 degree Dutch Planted Aquarium fixture (10 hr. cycle)
-24" 440nm Actinic Blue Led strip (set to go on right before the other two shut off and go off right after the others come on)
-Premium AQUATEK CO2 Regulator with Integrated COOL TOUCH Solenoid
-5 pound tank
-U.P. Aqua Inline Co2 Atomizer
-Hydor in-line Heater, 300-Watt
