The idea came to me rather quickly. I saw the fish, and thought of those cool scapes with "trees" on a hill. Then the blue rock came to mind... Riverside/oceanside... I wanted to keep it simple. The original scape was about 2-3 hrs from "idea" to completion. I was pleased with how it turned out, as I don't consider myself a particularly creative person, and even less commonly do my ideas actually work out in real life.
When I replanted, the DHG didn't have the roots I was hoping for, but I did find quite a few runners
it should fill in nicely. I'm quite impressed with how it has been growing; I didn't expect much from the plant, and the stock lighting on this little tank is pretty good! I also dose CO2 Booster daily, which I'm sure helps a lot.
I may move the RCS to another tank and get some snowballs, or something that will stand out more. Thoughts?
Eventually I need to pull the lava rock and let it dry out so I can glue the nana to it. Or go out and buy some fishing line, at least. Rubber bands aren't too classy, I'm told
