Been a while since I had an update on my 75 gallon. I just completed a move of the tank into a new house and decided to put some pictures up of the display. Pretty standard, low-tech -- no ferts, co2, etc., Anubias, ferns, various stem plants to add some red. Tank should be a beauty in a couple months or so once the red stem plants in each of the corners get re-established.Still looking for some moss to cover the wood as well. Currently doing treatment on the slight bit of algae, and sadly during the move I lost my 2 altifrons and L14 somehow but the others survived. Added 10 black neon tetras and 12 rainbowfish, along with a roseline for some color and fast movement.
and an angle of the trunk to give a little more depth. plenty of swimming room
Thanks guys! I have 2 discus in there as of now - cobalt blue and red pigeon blood. The other cichlids are of the eartheater complex - g. redhead tapajos, g. steindachneri, s. leucosticta, a. heckelii, g. balzanii. Also have a black angel as well.
I like the hanging roots too! These cichlids love sand and digging so I had to make a layout that allowed for sandsifting an adequate floor space. All these plants were trimmed too right after the move - the crypterii in the front went nuts and started to get too big haha
