ADA 90p "Puako" Scape Photo Journal (56k)

Tank: ADA 90p

Hardscape: Mix of fine sand, and black/red small lava rock from Substrate Source. Homebrew powersand, ADA substrate additives, regular and powder AS. Manzanita branch from TB.

Lighting: Hanging FNI custom anodized black 4x36w T5HO fixture

Inspiration: Area of the Big Island Hawaii called Puako I spent much time at growing up and family has been/is from this area for generations. Holds special meaning. Wanted to combine elements of the land flowing to a shoreline with lava and wind stripped trees that line the shore.

Beautiful! I think you nailed your inspiration scape quite well.

Do you have any more details of the stand? Looks very professional. I can't tell if it's laminate or a very good paint job. Please do tell of the methods.

Awesome! You definitely nailed the scape you were going for. I like the little tweaks you did over the 60 days in the photos.

Nice looking tank! Are those ADA's stainless pieces? What sort of angels did you add? They look like Altums or really nice scalare.

I've never regretted over engineering a system, but often regretted under engineering one.
