Talking CADLights 11G Shrimp Tank

Hi TPT,

This is my ongoing journal for my shrimp tank. I decided to run a shrimp tank after I had had terrible experience with my first planted tank. Fortunately, the failure of my first tank gave me many experience. This is my first experiment with CRS before keeping more expensive shrimps later.

Equipment:

CADLights 11G Zen Series Aquariums
Eheim 2213 (changed Eheim activated carbon to Seachem Furigen)
ZooMed 501 (full of de*nitrate)
Finnex Fugeray 20" (6h/day)
Whisper 40 splited into two lines running both UGF and sponge filter
2-3 Driftwoods

Substrate:

9L Bag of ADA Amazonia
BorneoWild Humic
BorneoWild Minerax
BorneoWild Vigor
BorneoWild Bacter Cyrstal 3

Shrimp Foods:

BorneoWild Bebi
BorneoWild Barley
BorneoWild Grow
BorneoWild Shield
BorneoWild Stout

Flora:

A big mat of Java Fern
X-mas Moss on driftwood
Mini X-mas Moss
Mini Fissiden

Shrimp and Fish:

12x SS CRS
1x Oto
Some pond snails

Nice looking setup. Those CAD Lights Zen tanks look pretty nice! How's the silicone work?

Here's some close-ups of the glass, edges, and silicon work. I think this tank is good quality for low-price.

Yeah that's really good! Looks on par with ADA and Aquatop's high clarity tanks, IMO. Same bevel edges. Makes me wish I was back in Cali for that SCAPE GB on these tanks... I'd love to have CAD's 23g!
