Talking 5 Gallon Dirted Nano!

Hello Everyone!

Now first off, I can't guarantee that this tank won't grow anything rather than algae, and I can't say that it will do well. But on the other hand, it just might turn out great. All the robbers will be trying to break in and snatch this tank. Plus with a 5 gallon it shouldn't be to hard! I better lock it up in a safe just to be sure. I mean who knows...In a year this tank could be very nice and what would happen then! Well lets just see how it's doing now shall we?

Enjoy, Braden

The fishy...

Hello again...

Here is the one fish in the tank. It's a harlequin rasbora named Gerald. I figured I needed to name him since he was the only fish in the tank! He's been doing well on his own even though he is a schooling fish.

What do you guys think I should stock this tank with?

I was thinking, endlers, chili rasboras, a betta, shrimp, ember tetras?

Thanks for looking, Braden

Nice tank man. I would go with some shrimp. Always fun to watch in a small tank.

Thank you! If I do go with the shrimp I would like to get some type of fish just for some action. Not sure what I will go with, but we will see in the future. Chili rasboras are pricey in my area, but endlers and ember tetras are reasonable.

How many of the endlers, embers, and shrimp should I do?

Thanks, Braden

With shrimp, you can start with about a dozen. They will multiply if the water is right. As for the other fish, it all depends on their size and space requirements. Endlers, I would only do 1 or 2 at the most. Not sure for the rasboras.
