Lightbulb Finnex 4g

Hi All

Just moved to a new place so i decided to set up another shrimp tank since the last one didnt go so well. This time Im actually getting most of the bells and whistles. Any recommendations would be awesome. Here are the specs for my iwagumi:

Dsm
Finnex 4g
Finnex clip on 26w
Px-360 filter
Eco-complete fine grade
Seiryu stones
Gla pb regulator and atomizer diffuser
---
Hc, hm, s repens

Week 1

I'm somewhat familiar with the requirements for Crs but I can't seem to get a hold of the Ro water. I check my local groceries stores but all they have is spring water, distilled water and infant water. (Anyone familiar with mixing these water? Can I use infant water at all?)

Im pretty sure u can use distilled water but u would need gh booster or something to remineralize...

People choose RO water because they buy the system so they dont need jugs and jugs and jugs laying around.

Personally id stay away from nursing water, i wouldnt even give that to my kid

Check the jugs, oftentimes it will say in fine print somewhere on the label if it's from RO, distilled, etc.

I have carnivorous plants which require fairly low TDS and have used a lot of different bottled waters...usually the ones I use are labeled "Drinking water" and from RO. Walmart's has seemed to do fine but I don't have any specific TDS readings...yet.

Yup there are Walmarts around, idk y I always thought water at the vending were distilled. Im going get some this weekend because my test kit arrives by the end of the week gonna do some testing soon. I bought a bottle of Prime I wonder if that helps. So you guys have any recommendations of mixing what with what waters to get it safe for the crs?

jpappy hit the nail on the head, labeled drinking water

in the fine print "by process of RO"

It is better to travel well than to arrive.

So I got these 32 bottles for 2.50 @ walmarts since my tank are small I don't mind using this.

It should be ok right and do I have to mix with tab water?
And I also haves set of seacherm's dosing would that change the parameter in the water enough to kill the crs?

Hard to say without any numbers...I don't know what "advanced filtration" and "ozone" would do. Is there anything about minerals being added back for taste?

I also don't know the requirements for CRS.

I make sure there weren't any minerals added to the water. And I tested it with my API. The results came up pretty good for crs. But I was told to mixed with tap water.

Finally got the Ro flooded my tank due to some fungus. Now I'm googling for some minerals.
