So the last inhabitant is what I'm having trouble with.
The rams stay at the bottom of the tank, and with a 40B you pretty much have a top and bottom, not so much of a middle. So need something for the rest of the tank.
A school of 12-15 small tetras would be nice, but they would need to be slow and lazy, like a little goldfish. Neons are two fast and skittish and really don't stay together very well. Maybe ember tetras, but 20-25 of them?
I could also go the other way 3-5 larger fish, but still slow and lazy. Something like Pearl Gouramis? Just no angelfish.
This tank will only be maintained by me weekly.
Waterchanges will be 50%+ each week.
Food will be flake or pellet twice a day through auto feeder. Anyday I am there they will get brine shrimp or white worms, maybe 2-4x a week.
Lights are 2 t5NO on at 12:00, off at 20:30.
