Hi everyone,

I would really like some advice on with these two plants:

They do not seem to be doing very well. First off the Hydroclyte:

Is this still transition to emmerged?... or is it just dying?

And the cyperus seems to be drying or burning or drowning ?

This is how they are set up: There is root tab in there and I'm currently not adding anything else to the water.

I would really like some advice.

Thanks in advance.

Hi everyone,

Turns out this:

is NOT a marble queen but a devil's ivy.

Good news is it will still grow in the riparium, its actually doing ok shooting our some new leaves.

Bad news is its gonna grow ivy like and I have no clue what that will look like. Hope it fits.

Tiny update:

Cyperus still drying out. I started misting it a bit in the morning and the evening, not sure how much that will change anything. On another note its putting out some crazy roots though.

OK update!

Probly looks exactly the same as the last update !

But if you look closer.....

You can see the crazy roots the cyperus shot out ! My hopes are back up for this plant!

And some emerging bacopa and hydroclyte:

Cheers

Hi everyone !

I know from all the impatient comments that you guys have been dying for an update! I have been busy lately but I managed to take a few picture of the tank after I cleaned it yesterday.

Haha love the betta's name... and why he is named so. Stunning boy as well!

Glad to see your plants are doing well!! They are looking great too, crazy roots on some of them!
This is my time stumbling into this journal, but even if I had seen it sooner I wouldn't have been much help. Still a newb to this whole planted tank concept myself. I have a few I can grow ok so far, but don't know a whole lot about how to fix them,... yet.

Overall completely loving this setup!

Are you planning on adding any submerged plants? Or maybe some driftwood perhaps? The rocks are great looking!

That is a relaxing looking spot. I could sit there all day.

Multiple planted tanks 1.75g to 55g.

Thanks for the tank love !

I am pretty happy with the overall look. Can't wait for the bacopa and hydroclyte to dense up.

Surprisingly (or not) my frogbit is doing horrible in this tank. Its all melting slowly. I believe it might be the fact that it has no lid and therefore its exposed to less humidity ? What do you guys think ?
