Arrow My 40b coming together

Hello everyone decided to show my progress on my 40b, all critique is welcome (other than on my fish )

Right now I have my tank a solid steel black painted stand and my substrate; sand.

Today I went out by a river and got some great pieces of wood. I have hi hopes on rinsing out the tank today.

Pics coming soon

Filling today.

I finished filling. I am worried about the filter and if it will hold up to the sand, though I put a pre filter on it? Anyway exited to put the plants in and the tank is coming in nicely.

Can I put media between the filter cartrage and side in a bio wheel filter?
