Any details on the lighting and co2 distribution?
I am very interested in your overflow setup.
Are you getting any surface skimming? It looks like it is designed to draw from the water column. Are you using bulkead fittings as bolts to keep the two halves of the box together?
The lighting is supplied by K.E.Y and are converted marine lights using cree chips. We got a good match of light spectrums for the planted tank. They penetrate right to the bottom of the tank easily and the plants get plenty of good light.
Here is some info on the lighting.
They are K4
-80-D-EX lights. There is also a k4-40 in the centre running front to back.
here is a link to the manufacturers page. http://sh-ne.com/eshowshop.asp?/92.html
Cost was around $2,000 for the setup.
co2 is a standard co2 tank with a bubble counter going into a in line reactor which dumps the potion directly into the sump at the pump.
Overflow - What would you like to know.
Here is a picture I have taken of the overflow on the tank. We cut 2 holes into the back of the tank - and it is essentially fixed onto the tank with the plumbing and soft washers.
Picture of sump.
The overflow has a grill cut into the front of it which goes from top to bottom .. meaning it draws water in from all heights. It also has a half circle emergency overflow in the top .. which you can see in the photo.
