I guess I can add that; today I made a small attempt at fighting the algae by means of physical removal. I removed the anubias i had put in this tank (originally out of my higher tech 75g) one by one and used a wash cloth to try and remove as much algae as i could. The leaves affected the worst i simply trimmed. I also took this opportunity to split the two larger plants at the rhizome I then used some string to tie each plant to several med rocks leftover from my substrate change on the 75. A few other of the anubias in this tank are ziptied to their rock.

Visually the tank looks alot better without the blackened leaves everywhere. Ill grab a pic when the lights come on tomorrow after i go shooting!!

Any idea how likely this tank might be to explode?

Started dosing API "co2 booster" yesterday hopefully battle some of the algea continuing to grow.. im honestly considering getting a splitter for my pressurized setup and just run a intank diffuser in this tank as well as my 75...

to be specific.. in the ten gallon the anubias i moved from my 75 is still growing many kinds of algea.... its so aggravating!!! Theres BBA BSA BGA(cyano) and some kind of greenish algae starting also.. im hoping the co2booster helps a little atleast.. i thought for sure having such low light would help avoid another algae tank.. alas its starting to grow everywhere..

Made a DIY spraybar with parts i had lying around.. i think ill make a better one still..
Heres what i did..

I took some leftover hose, from plumbing my fluval on my 75, and stuck a small rock in the end almost sealing it. Then i took my trusty dremel and drilled a few outlet holes along one side. I then used a fluval siliconeish connector to attack the bar to the outlet elbow on my hot mag. It does produce a great amount of pressure and flow but i think i need a few more holes and in a few more directions.. Any advice on this? i mostly just want to keep the plants as happy as i can..

Well a lot if not all of the algae is dead but I may have over spot treated a couple anubias leaves. I treated with a syringe+about 1" airline daily 10ml of "co2 booster" (API product contains formalin) for about three days. Maybe next time maybe 5ml mixed with lol water 2 days. but the plants are growing new leaves quickly. And dosing about 5ml daily in the water column seemed to make all the plants quite happy and the rasboras ate happy as ever. Anyway here's what's now calling my "10 gallons of inspiration"

Ill get new-er pics tomorrow with a WC

PS This new tapatalk is pretty meh

Actually the plant in the back right is not rotala, its ludwigia. Rotala looks similar but is lighter green with pinkish tops.

Plants to the left and center are rotala rotundifolia and on the right side is ludwigia narrow leaf. Both were bought at miejers. Hope this helps with the ID of the plants.
