My first planted tank... Fluval Spec V

Hey all,

About a year ago I bought a betta at pet store near my office completely on impulse... thinking that I could simply throw him in a jar or and give him a slightly better existence, if it even knew the difference.

Well one thing led to another and now I have my first planted aquarium... go figure.

It's a Fluval Spec V with a low tech CO2 system made from some brewing supplies... I've got some crypts, micro-sword, java moss, and java fern. Also have a ton of cherry shrimp, a few bumble-bee's, amanos, and a Siamese algae eater... Oh and of course the "Boss".

You've got a pile o dishes to do

The tank looks great, maybe it's just the angle of the photos, but the kitchen side seems really dark while the opposite side is much better lit.

Probably to busy starring at the tank to do any dishes. I like the unique CO2 setup.
