Playing around with two different bulbs. Left side is cheap ebay par38 led, right is a more expensive full spectrum par38. The right brings out reds but lacks in the green. Left is more naturalistic i think.

But I had the same algea with the floaters :/

So to much light you think? Bought some new timers so that I can run the lights independently, maybe tone it down to 8h light period with 1h overlapping?

I was about to suggest that.

Have the co2 switch on 1hr before the lights come on. Then switch off the co2 40 odd mins before the light turn off.

With your algae I'd to going with 6hrs light max.

By "independently" I meant that I can set the two lights on different timers to get a softer start up. Nothing of real importance. I will however adjust the Co2 and lighting period as suggested

First real trim now done and oh man it was a jungle in there. Half a bucket of greens out and discovered some baby blue jellys as an added bonus.

I also stole some red fast growers from my 90-P for background contrast and algea artillery.

If you check out my thread, I also do only 6 to 8 hours max of lighting with the lighting separated into a couple hours here and there versus all at once. Awesome looking tank btw!
