Haha...I agree. Sadly, that is far beyond the scope (and budget!) of this project.

Maybe someday when I get married and my house just isn't compatible with my princess' stand of living, and we build.

I finally got all of my pieces together and expanded my regulator tonight. Now I can feed my new 75, a small growout/QT tank, and keep my 46 running.

Wow...it took forever, but I had some personal stuff to deal with for a few months.

I finally got it all set up and transferred all of the PetSmart plants I had into it (the Alternanthera reineckii looks terrible, so I left it out).

I set up and tore down the rocks a hundred times until I got something I could live with.

I can't wait to see what it looks like in a month.

I am using an inline atomic difffuser and the EI fert method now.

I applaud your wall-matching skills; even if circumstances made it an easy thing to do. That rock work is slick. It looks vaguely Frank Lloyd Wright-esque. What other plants are you considering putting in there?

I've never regretted over engineering a system, but often regretted under engineering one.

Thanks, Phil. Your FLW comment cracks me up, as when I showed it to one of my Architect colleagues this morning, he joked that I should have become a landscape architect instead.

As for the other plants, I'm not sure yet. I think the L. arcuata will get pretty bushy in back, but I want something dark green and taller in the back corners, but nothing really vertical. I also want something to sit on the little rock ledge at lower right. I am also considering growing something little in some of the cracks between the rocks.

Any suggestions?

got a pic of the lights? i want to see how high you've got them. i had to turn my lights down because i was getting crazy algae. i have it on the swivel legs. if my crafting skills were better, i'd like to raise it. if i recall correctly... you said you were going with two buildmyled's right?

I just ordered some more plants.

Limnophila hippuroides

Nessaea crassicaulis

and just since I have always wanted one...a Red Tiger Lotus

Hopefully, I will get them by Friday and I can stare dreamily into the aquarium all weekend.

Excellent choice of plants. I think they're going to really pop in your tank.
