Sake's 55 community tank

Hey all this is my first tank journal! I've had this 55 gallon for a year and finally just got 99% of what I need to set it up. Took a long time to piece everything together, but with health problems and not being able to work, I think 1 year isn't all that long.

Anyhow here's the equipment list..

marineland 200b HOB filter
Eheim classic 350 canister filter
Marineland maxi jet 600 power filter
Eheim jager 150w heater
4 clamp on dome lights with 23 cfl bulbs

Substrate
Black blast blasting sand
MGOCPM
red powdered clay

Now for the fishies!
10 Neon tetra
10 Serpae tetra
10 Glowlight tetra
10-12 Zebra danio not sure on the exact numbers lil suckers won't sit still for a count lol
8 harlequin rasbora
3 albino cories
2 Dwarf gourami
3 scissortail rasbora Only 3 because they were given to me it was either rehome them or kill'em so I took them.
6 kuhli loach
MTS, Ramshorn, Pond, and my favorite Assassin snails
few culled cherry shrimp
and one lonely freshwater clam

Plant list oh lord I have no idea hahaha!
Water Wisteria
Micro swords
Chained swords
Random crypts
Random ferns
Brazilian pennywort
Tiger lotus
1 Amazon sword
Jungle val
Corkscrew val
Alternanthera reineckii
Frogbit
Water lettuce
and of course duckweed
Now alot of these plants have been brown emersed to increase the amount I have and are in the transitional stage (aka look like crap!)

Few pics of the tank

While getting closer to being finished, I'm not quiet there yet. I still need to Paint the light bar black, run the lighting wires through the bar, get a Co2 system (already have 6 diy 2 liters running into a reactor but want pressurized Co2), finish off the stand, and paint the rest of the dome lights black. Probably more stuff that I'm not thinking of to lol.

Very impressive! I hope to upgrade my 29 to a 55 or 75, then turn my 29 into a shrimp tank just like yours.

Yeah there's wisteria floating up there, also some brazilian pennywort, and a few other plants, but the one you're talking about is wisteria, love that stuff.

So today in the 29 gallon shrimp tank, I found a random fry swimming around. Only fish in there are oto, but I don't believe that it's an oto fry. I did just plant a rubin sword in that tank. Hard to believe the egg would survive on that though. It was out of water for about 4 hours, rinsed in cold tap water for 5 minutes as I picked the rock wool out, put in an 80 degree community tank for 3 days, then added to a 75 degree shrimp tank. Seems like a lot for an egg to survive but it must have. Here are some pics Hard to see it but it's in there.Click image for larger version
