Doubt it. Believe you would need to get it hydro tested.

I don't know if they'd even exchange a bottle of thiers with one you own. I think, at least the shop near me, you have to rent their bottle and then exchange that or have it refilled as needed. It's MUCH cheaper to refill than it is to rent and a 10# bottle should last you quite a while.

JAYGEE's Mr. Aqua 12g Largo...

I love 12g longs. I personally think your start is great but you need a few more stones at least. Subbed!

The guy I am going to get it from is going to get it hydro tested at the place he got it from and they will waive the $12 fee if he got it from their and will get it exchanged or refilled.

Thanks, I am waiting on a piece of branch wood in the mail from ADI before I go buy a few more pieces of stones, but a few more will be added.

Branch wood came in and I boiled it for a few hours, then soaked in a 5 gallon bucket for a few more hours.

Top view.

Tested the water

4-10-13

High Range PH - 7.4
PH - 6.8
Ammonia - 8.0
Nitrate - 10
Nitrite - 5.0

4-12-13

High Range PH - 7.4
PH - 7.0
Ammonia - 8.0
Nitrate - 160
Nitrite - 2.0

Tank has been running 1 week tomorrow. Only thing that has changes was a piece of branch wood was added prior to the water test.

Today's Water

High Range PH - 7.4
PH - 7.0
Ammonia - 1.0
Nitrate - 160
Nitrite - 5.0

Is the Nitrate supposed to be that high?

I have a new pic, but soon as my phone charges I can upload it.

I tied some moss to the branch wood so it can start growing. I added some Co2 at 1 bps.

Looking good. I wanna see the new pic.

You should do a large water change to lower those nitrates, 160 ppm isn't tolerable by many shrimp or fish. Or temporarily add some floaters, something to soak it up.

How I feel about non-planted aquariums.

i love your seiryu stone that has a split down it. I hoped the dwarf hairgrass is doing good, I know from experience when bunching them up like that I got very slow results =(.
