Lastly, a pic of the tank with the lights on. I just added the substrate and water tonight and my filters are running. I'll take some pics after the water clears tomorrow.

OMG...good luck with the GRE! Saw that book laying there and it can be a pain in the arse...I "Ohhh Christmas Tree Ohhhh Christmas Tree'd" mine back in 1990 and amazingly did great. Its a pain though...not as hard as the MCATs but still a pain.

Took my MCATs and decided to pursue a flying career with the USAF. Thats what Im doing now.

Looking very nice aeternum23... Looks like you are going to run into the same problem with mine. You have a heavy hood with no hinges. :cry: Just like mine. Every time I have to get into my tank, I have to completely remove the hood from the tank. I wish I would have made some sort of contraption so I could simply swing up the lights. Oh well.

Actually there are hinges. If you look closely on the first picture, you can see the hinge to the far left. As you can see, the hinge is directly adjacent to the lights, which will make it hard if I want to install a computer fan in the future
