My Fluval Spec V (help and advice please!)

just recently replanted my spec v, took out all my microswords and replaced them with glosso and dwarf hairgrass, hopefully they'll be healthy and carpet (is stock lighting good enough?)

im running a diy co2 system, using an airstone with no bubble counter. i have the ceramic fluval co2 diffuser but that thing needs so much pressure ive been unable to make it work. im thinking about making a co2 reactor using the filter output in place of a submersible pump (anyone have any input as to whether this would work or not?)

all photos were taken with iphone 4, with olloclip
