20 Long German Blue Ram Riparium

My friend and I photoshopped an idea for an awesome tank. See, I had a dilemma. I want GBRs so badly, but then i really wanted a riparium. then LIGHTNING struck and i thought, now why cant i just do both?!
I was going to try and do a whole little ecosystem thing where all the plants and animals came from the orinocco basin, but i realized the plants would be really hard to find and probably expensive, so im just sticking to the fish for now.
So here's the proposed plant list:
Crypy wenditii green
Java windelov
anubias nana
bacopa
java moss
peace lillies
whorled pennywort
dragon flame
Alternanthera reineckii var 'roseafolia'

and the proposed fish list:
a pair of GBRs
8-10 neon tetras
rummy nose tetras?

That sounds good. Some of those plants, such as the crypt and Java fern, will need very high humidity if you want to grow them emersed as riparium plants. So they will do best in a tank with a lowered water level and covered top.

Consider pothos, Epipremnum aureum, as well. They grow above or below water without complaint and don't need much humidity and they clean the water too, and also chinese evergreen(aglaonema) which is like a variegated peace lily.

Rummy nose are difficult to acclimate. Neon tetras would be easier.
