PolitikzAmore's - Dutch(ish) style 75g Community 90g & 125g Plus side projects galor!

Since going back to school I am down to 5 tanks from 9 so I should be able to keep it contained in to a journal. If you want to see my 2 paludariums, I will post pics and video in the vivarium, etc section.

125g South American Community Tank - Moved my established 120g setup into this newer 6ft setup. Keeping things as they are until I can upgrade the lighting.

Discus, Angelfish, German blue rams, gold rams, geophagus sp., red streak gold severums, clown loaches, assorted tetras and cories.

125g Video

75g High-Tech Planted Tank - Special Hummus-Soil Blend capped with black Eco-comlete / Activ-Flora. 6 bulb 4ft HOT5 rack. Pressurized CO2, daily/weekly dosing regiment. Large school of Tiger Barbs, common pleco.

75g Video

65g - Mated Discus Pair - Princess & Rosenthal. Tons of driftwood in this tank, 20g sump is also filled with wood. Sometimes they decide to keep and raise a nice school of fry. Several nice adolescents are in the 125g video.

First off special achievement. My Heteranthera Zosertifolia is flowering for the first time.
Best pics I could manage on the camera phone.
Two flowers, one has an O2 bubble attached.

75g is ready for it's weekly trim tomorrow. Here's a few pics before I tidy up.

Also one of my favorite fish from the 125g tank - Geophagus Sp.

Few things to update this time around.

Flooded my 90g riparium, added a few plants to round things out.
Now I will slowly be moving some choice fish over from the 125g.

A week later you can still see the moss pearling nicely without much to
coax it along.

My lower light project is coming along, the planted HOB is starting to grow in
finally. Few crypts popping up through the riccia, and the creeping charlie is
showing new growth. This tank relies exclusively on indirect sunlight, and a
marineland single bright LED.

Started a new emersed batch of crypts, approx. 12 assorted rhyzomes, and
a collection of Bryum Caespiticium that needed a home. No pics this week but
I also brought home a sample of Bryum argenteum to work with as well.

As winter sets in my discus pair tends to go into eggs laying mode. Here the
male is looking tough while Princess lurks in the back of the 65g

Nice colors in the tanks, especially the top set of pics. Hard to get stargrass to flower underwater, so nice job there!
