Lightbulb 3 Tiny Wabi-Kusa-Wannabes

Found these bowls today and decided to give this a try. They're not real wabi kusas since I didn't have clay around to maintain the dirt ball as an island, so they're really just mini planted bowls. Still very cool for an office desk.

Worked with what I had, did 3 bowls with some dirt/sand out of my balcony planters, and available aquarium plants.

Bowl #1:

ludwigia glandulosa, ludwigia arcuata, star repens, hc

Bowl #2:

blyxa japonica, hc

Bowl #3:

amazon microsword, HM, marsilea minuta, lindernia parviflora

Will they survive? Will they thrive? Or will my cat eat them? Stay tuned!

I'm afraid not. However they look cool nevertheless. Where did you purchase the bowls?

Replanted with spaghnum moss (was too dirty and I wanted the "island" look)

Not sure why I took this pic. Was going to use it for a simple how-to then decided not to.

I like the poignant juxtaposition of delicate plants against the brutal streets of the megalopolis.

Looking great Xen!
And how are these wannabes? They're as "Wabi Kusa" as anyone else making them, ADA included.
