Redoing my 10g tank
I had my old set up (last pic) thriving for the last couple of years and decided it's time to change it up a bit. So, here is my new set up planted on 7/21/2012
Substrate- FLourite, sand, and some left over gravel
Lighting - 20" Odyssea 36W 6700K (1 bulb) & 1 actinic
CO2- Paintball canisters and a GLA regulator w/ bubble counter and drop checker (2bps)
Filtration - 2 x HOB 20 & 30 Aquaclear filters
Water - Tap w/ prime
Plants - HC, MM, Ludwigia repens, Anubias Petite,Hygro corymbosa
Ferts - Excell, Flourish and root tabs
Fish - One adopted Molly who thinks HE's a dog, rasporas, cardinal and green tetras
Inverterbrates - RCS and Amanos
Water parameters - PH 7.2, NO3 40, NH3 0,
I think my nitrates are a bit high because I used some of my left over gravel out of the old tank. I left the old gravel in and just added to it.
I'm doing 25% water changes twice a week which should bring the NO3 down.
Now to kick back and watch it grow. I'll be posting more pics down the line.
