I used rayon thread in my eclipse and it stayed just long enough for my fissidens to grab on. I wish it would have stayed on just a little longer, but im not sure if it was deteriorating or the snails were eating it. Probably both

I currently have 5 tanks, 1 mini M, 2 60fs, 2 90ps. I will be rescaping the other 90p in a few months. I use R/O in all of them except the old scape 90p which just gets straight tap.

Flooded. (x/post from 60f club)

My CO2 regulator came today so I was able to get it running and flood tonight. Now I just have to pray that the elatine surives the cycle. No sure thing! If not, I have some emersed e.h. waiting in the wings to take its place post cycle.

Thanks Chad! Once the substrate is covered in the green of the e.h., a lot of the black will disappear, and in turn, the focal point of the rocks area will come much more into focus. Then we should have something!

It looks... amazing.

What kind of bolbitis do you have in the center there, and where did you get it?

That is bolbitis cuspidata micro. I bought this from someone on TPT almost 2 years ago. It likes cooler water or else it won't do very well. I keep mine at 22/23c.

Is it just me or does your hardscape look like one big shrimp or beetle? Didn't think you could top your previous tank. Good job!

Yes, I saw it too! I could easily call this tank The Emerald Scarab instead.

Great job with the rescape! I really hope the EH carpets for you and you dont need to add the HC. No Jettison there. A puddle of perfect.
