My 20g High tank .....

So I finally got my 20g High tank going .....

Substrate is soil with a black gravel cap, no CO2 yet, just dosing Excell, Iron, Pot and Phospate .....

Plants were bought from OVT and Aquaticplantcentral ... but mostly from OVT.

As for Fauna, I have 3 Male Guppies, my two male Platies (these guy are hardy, I use them cycle my tanks along with an established filter), 4-7 Neon Tetras, 3 Nerite Snails, and 3 Amano shrimp.

So, let me know what you think of it so far ... I'm hoping the Pygma Chain swords recover and carpet the front of the tank ........

I bought this light for this tank ... My brackets didn't look like the ones in the picture, I had to bend them so that it did and grabbed the rim of the tank. It's probably like 2 inches of the rim.

I like your tank! if i may. Some trimming on the left side would b good just to make a gradient in the plants.

Thanks, I trimmed the right side this past weekend and hopefully, life permitting, I can get clean up some of the root growth and get some trimming for my new 15 gallon tank underneath this tank

as much as I love the overgrown look, trim the left side lol, at the very least until everything else starts filling in the way you want it to
also, not fully sure why, but I feel like a marimo moss ball would look nice in there

Oh so you got 2, serious hobbyist
If you want you can move the big leafed plant towards the front cuz its beauty is hidden all the way back there
