When I got home most of the foreground was covered, so I decided to fill at 4 weeks. The result? I wish that kids could have more patience. Most of the HC hung on, but a lot floated. The water is still cloudy but I am putting a Penguin 150 (FYI rated for 30G) on the tank, just because I had a spare. Boy, the filter is strong! The whole tank water pretty much swirls around. I also put in my last shrimps-two blue pearls that survived my poor acclimation-twice. This time I did it right and they survived the night but one was a bit spooked when the lights turned on. The fluval shrimp stratum covered all but on strand of DHG, but the hill that formed looks really cool, so I'm just going to plant over it. There wasn't
much DHG to start with anyway.
No pics yet because I just got a fancy new camera and I still have to figure out how to upload pics.
Scratch the ludwigia and rili shrimp idea.
