Ajax: Mr. Aqua 12G Long

Hey everyone. A little embarrassed to be posting this up, since it's so unfinished and in a mess as of now, but I'm looking for a little inspiration / suggestions.

Here's what I've got now:

Problem is, I'm not sure how I should fill in the manzanita side to make it look a little bit like a wabikusa ball, with various plants filling in the left side to make it look thicker. The scape itself also looks unbalanced, and I'm looking to fill in the right side as well. Any suggestions or links to tanks with a similar look? Any plant suggestions?

Don't be embarrassed, that's hardly a mess. It's a great start to a tank.
I do agree that the manzanita all the way over on the left like that makes the scape a bit unbalanced and crowded on the left side. Maybe move the manzanita so it's not all the way pushed up against the left side of the tank?

good start! depends on what you want to do with the tank. if you plant heavily in the middle and right, that wood could look good where it is.

I love the Mr. Aqua long tank. I say throw in more wood, but I like it so far.
