This is going to be loosely based on a Malaysian pond biotope. Obviously, my fancy-pants betta would not be found in the wild, but that doesn't mean he does not deserve a groovy tank, right?

The tank was a classifieds find for about $10. The silicone was in pretty bad shape and stained from some kind of medication, so the tank needed a reseal.
My son helped me scrape out the old silicone cause my arms are too short to reach the bottom of the tank easily.
Hoping to get to the re-seal today. Wish me luck!
