Well, i took a better look at my tank, and found even more algae than i thought. I have identified 3 so far.

1) Staghorn Algae (on plants)
2) Green Spot Algae (on plants)
3) Hair Algae (on glass)

I got rid of the Stag and Green Spot by cutting the leaves/plant that hosted them. I got rid of the Hair Algae by scraping it off with a sponge.

I have not yet preformed a water change. Should i?

A few updates. Algae has now become manageable. Most died out after the cycle finished. I got my red cherry shrimp 2 days ago. 1 day shipping. The bag was freezing cold and I thought they were all dead. But thankfully, there were no losses.

Here is a video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IBEJl...1&feature=plcp

How are your plants doing? Any signs of new growth?

Also in your video I like how all your shrimp are crowding on top of the zucchini slice and then you see only one hanging on the bottom of it having it all to him/her self.
