For fish I have some in my nano now that will be moved over.

1 x dwarf gold spot pleco
5 x harlequins
? x cherry shrimp, quite a few babies
4 x columbian tetras

I want to add a nice school of cardinal tetras maybe a few more columbians. Id love to do some roseline sharks but I think my tank is too small. Probably like 4-6 otos and maybe some kind of cory cats for the bottom. Just kinda tossing around ideas in my head right now.

http://www.amazon.com/PPA-OLSHARGB-A..._bxgy_hi_img_b this is what I picked up when I got it, it was only 39 shipped, I would have paid more because its totally awesome. My only issue is that it is Infrared and not radio frequency, but other than that I am in love with it pre-tank setup. We will see how things work out once water is in the tank.

Didn't get much done today because I had to sleep off my birthday hang over . I have to put the final coat on the canopy, that should happen tonight. But I did get the hardware and door reinstalled on the stand.

Pics with and with out the flash.

Does the canopy sit right on the tank?

I've never considered having one on my tank but it may do better with my "non-ADA" style stand, similar to yours, than conduit rails would. Is there any concern about the weight on a tank rim?

as far as weight on the rim. I personally have never heard anyone having trouble with the weight on the tank rim. I had a 10 or 12 inch tall canopy on my 6 foot 135g reef and never had any issues.

Here are some pictures of how the canopy sits on the trim of the tank.

Canopy on tank.

Canopy opened.

Some shots from inside the canopy and a closeup of the inner rail while opened
