I think the amazon swords shouldn't flank the Drift Wood, maybe one could go behind or on the other side. You now have a bunch of room for more plants, maybe some crypts. Would you consider trying a straight line in the substrate along the front?

IMO you should just lose the rocks on the right and put plants in place, a plant that will fill the back wall all the way across or carpet like cable guy said

Nice tank! its coming along well, and I know I'm a bit late to the party but good job getting rid of the nasty green rocks in the beginning.

Edit: I second the carpet plant idea

Is it possible to establish good growth with a carpet plant without CO2? I like the idea of a carpet plant too because I don't like my substrate anymore. The rocks I'm leaning towards keeping, I really like the way they contrast with the anubias and my Kribs lay their eggs under them (not that they need to be laying anymore little floozies). Any suggestions for carpeting plants? Oh and I agree about the swords, I'm going to move the one closest to the left hand side of the tank to the back of the wood, but the filter is there, fingers crossed it doesn't take too much of a beating.
