Don't know your native swamp trees. Might need to check with the Alabama Ag Dept.

Very nice!

What kind of leaves did you use for the leaf litter? so they need to be a specific type?

Ok guys I need your opinion. I have five neon tetras in the tank as of now and the three Cory catfish. I'm going to get three hatchet fish also. But my question is should I purchase five more neon tetras to have a huge school of ten or add five of a different schooling tetra. If a school of different tetras please add the names. Thank you guys.

I say stick with a bigger school of neons. Also, make sure you have a tight lid on that tank with hatchets.

Ok I'm considering a larger school or adding five glow-light tetras to it. and yes my tank is secured except near the HOB filter location i believe mine will hang out a lot under the Amazon Frogbit but thank you for the suggestion.
