Have you thought about taking the top glass off the edge and making it a rimless tank?

Thanks for the comments everyone!

@Jerray ... nope... kind of defeats the purpose of having the Edge tank. Here in Calgary evaporation is pretty high during the winter months so it definitely wouldnt be practical plus taking the top glass off means my overflow would need to be changed.

Why does your EDGE look so much bigger than mine? Lol. And your fissidens already looks great. Are you growing a moss wall too? This is going to be awesome. Btw, how long are you running your lights each day?

thanks for the compliments.
Yup... attempting a moss wall with some regular java moss and my lights are on 11 hours a day and the tank gets a tiny bit of indirect sun light for probably 3 hours during the morning.

Very nice tank! I just got one, and it's dragged me back into the hobby hard.

Does the light strip make a big difference with plant growth? Doesn't the glass filter out most of the good stuff?

sweet setups epecialy the freshwater/saltwater contrast. Im curently working on a 10 gallon sump myself but not for filtration just to connect 2 tanks and reduce the maintenace... having a freshwater 46 bow a 5.5 a 2.5 and two .5 betta tanks + a 26 saltwater is getting to me!

And what it looks like on top of the tank. Gives me decent lighting all the way around the perimeter of the Edge tank.
How much did all of this cost to make? I need a lighting system like this and I would be interested if purchasing one from you if they arent too much hassle. Please let me know, thanks.
