40 breeder + 15 extra tall!

Hey its about time to start showing both tanks here

40 breeder

Equiptment- 2x39 t5 HO lighting and a PB tank with regulator for co2.
Plants- HM and ALT. Red
Fish etc- Neon tertras, 1 clown loach, 6 or so ghost shrimp, 2 mystery snails.
I dont dose ferts very much anymore. I did EI for awhile but stopped due to the fact that I dont like changing 50% of water per week. I dont really have probs with algae in here.

Eventually I want to get a background, a canister filter, inline heater, and a inline diffuser. Also I want more height so I will let the HM grow upwards in the back middle to be like a hill.

15 extra tall

I just did a big trim up on the fissidens and I really need to clean glass so Its not looking great in this pic. I want to get some nerite snails.
Theres around 70 yellow shrimp in there. 2x 23watt compact florescent lights- no co2.

Beautiful looking tanks, the color contrast on the 40 is awesome. Great wood tree in the 15, the trim job look fantastic.

Its baby tears aka HM aka pearl grass, not the more often used HC. It usually grows upwards but I have really high lighting so it grows lowdown and stacks up on its self overtime. I grew the entire carpet from a single inch long stem.
