6 Gallon Eclipse- "Left Overs"

I happen to love leftovers. Meatloaf, pizza, pasta, whatever. I also happened to have a bag of ADA ASI left over, a rather expansive rock that I purchased from AquaForest but didn't use in my South AmerAfricAsian Biotope, a paintball Co2 tank setup, and an Eclipse Six that I had some plastic plants and small pieces of drift wood in. So I decided to move all it's residents into the biotope and turn this little tank into a shrimp only tank and I ordered 20 RCS SS+ from Shrimp Lab!...boom.

So, right now I have...
Eclipse 6 Gallon Tank
*stock light and filter
ADA ASI
Staurogyne Repens
Flame Moss
Rose Moss
Mini Rose Moss
I think Java Moss

I think this will be the scape...

Thanks for reading and I'd appreciate any suggestions!

I love the wood!

Without Algae, death of mankind would be inevitable.

Okay, I'm awake...what happend while I was gone?

Well, I let this tank and my 57 gal all but completely go to the toilet. I've almost revived both and decided to check my blogs of both. I didn't realize that I never added anything further to this one. I was surprised, minutes ago, when I discovered I only made my first post.

A lot has changed. I upgraded the light to a AH Supply 18 watt job that has been fantastic. I got tired of fussing with the paintball tank and went with my second GLA regulator that has been more than fantastic!!

This tank became pretty overgrown and is still in a process of recovery. My S. repens got pretty leggy and everything else besides my Fissidens Fontanus melted away.

So now I'm going to do some picture catchup and then try to keep up better. Thanks for looking!

Matt

P.S. About a week ago I added 25+/- RCS (thanks Crispino Ramos!) to the tank and they are doing great. AND...dun dunna daahhh, I've got some berried CRS!

I'll take some new pics soon, if not tonight

Love how the throw away tank is lush and green. The wood is fantastic, you should save off some of the Fissidens and show off the wood (and send it to me :p) Seriously though really pretty tank! Do the shrimp reproduce a lot?

I have a 10 gallon I use for quarantine and some UP Aquasoil and 65w PC, and HOB filter... I am resisting MTS!

This tank has always been the healthiest! They reproduced once and I can't count them to tell how they did. Swap you for some Xmas. :-)

How about this? It's about a golf ball size.

Babies!

Trimmed up this tank recently, added 25 RCS, and have been on top of the tank in general. The results...

And today I found... (first pic is a bit of "where's waldo?"...*hint* right in the middle)

I'm quite happy with this as I really screwed up when I neglected my two tanks. I hope this is a sign of a happy tank for a long time to come!

I don't know if I introduced a studly RCS to my CRS but I now have 3 more berried CRS females! What's up? I did increase the temp of the tank for a couple days to about 82F (because I thought I was going to have to transplant a fish from bigger tank; never did).

None the less, very cool.
