10 gal iwagumi New start (56k beware!)

Starting this lil iwagumi tank
10 gallon De-Rimmed

Current Equip:
Filtration: None (DSM)
Lighting: Coralife 10w CFL
Substrate: ActivFlora - Crushed Quartz
Co2: None (DSM)
Ferts: None
Current Flora:
HC

Current Fauna:
None

Future Equip:
Filtration: Eheim 2234 / Fluval 204 (or others if suggestions arise)
Lighting: Coralife 65w 50/50 24" FL / 178w MH/T5 combo (suspended 3ft above)
Substrate: ActivFlora - Crushed Quartz
Co2: Debating on a Pressurized Co2 Complete Kit / DIY Pressurized Co2
Ferts: Flourish / Kent

Future Flora:
HC
Dwarf Hairgrass

Future Fauna:
Galaxy Rasboras (9)
RCS
BCS

just googled them, they're pretty cool, unfortunately i also plan on having RCS / BCS and from the posts i was seeing they enjoy shrimp as a staple food =[

you will always hear mixed experiences. I've heard from plenty of people that they are shrimp safe and others say the complete opposite. In the end i think it's up to you to try it and see how the fish react to the shrimp. That's what i will do. Fortunately RCS aren't expensive, they breed prolifically for me and my tank will be heavily planted.

Update:

Tank is doin good, startin to see the HC send out runners!!!
Was wondering if keeping the tank sealed during DSM the whole time was ok, or should i let fresh co2 in to promote growth??

will upload pix tomorrow.
