29gal Redo for a Fancy Goldfish Community

Ok...soo..for a while now, I've had *NO* idea what to do for my 29 [a thought even came to just get rid of it], but I've decided...

It's going to be my second [or 3rd[I forget how it works in my room...I mean, I had trouble finding the computer! :P]] planted tank.

Inhabitants will be:
Betta Sorority [we'll see how many of my girls live through IP's. ] and if all my girls don't make it; I'm planning for a yellow crowntail or for Wendigo to go in here.
2x Ryukin Goldfish [stuck with them]
4x Rose/4x Glowlight Danios [they school with each other but maybe this tank will house my zebra danios for now???]
Blue Mystery Snail - Pearl [Crane, one of my FM bettas LOVES eating Malaysian Trumpet Snails and I have this snail already]

since this tank will house the 55 fish while I'm working on that tank [should be for only a day], I can't really move the intended fish in here yet or start it..but it shouldn't be that long before it's going...

These are the existing fish I have to work with:

Wendigo:

Sparkles:

Boo:

Lily:

Crane:

Stormy:

Roger:

and you can pretty much imagine the zebra danios/blue mystery snail...they look no different then others...

Wish me luck! This will be a fun project!

OH, I'm going to have a 36W T5 light on here too, I think...

Plants will be mainly crypts, hygros, mosses, & anubias...but a sword or 2 may sneak in...and vals...cabomba...IDK.

Thanks! I hate that they are all veiltails though. I had a lot of CT girls before the last IP infestation...

I only have one really fancy one and he's actually my mom's fish!

His name is Firefox and is a crowntail:

Oh, Wendigo is infected too, so there is no guarantee he'll even live to put in here because in addition, his fins are clamped and fungusized... :S

Who said bettas need big tanks?

My mom's bettas are fine in 1gal's while mine suffer in 5's, 10's, 29's & 55's. <_<

Not saying this is a permanent trend...but ugh.

best of luck with ur setup, loved ur betta collection, are ur bettas in community tank ?
I have seen betta's getting stressed out in community tanks they like being alone or being with guys who are bottom dwellers .tats why i have kept my full moon red betta in a seperate 4g tank . and hes loving it there.

PS: Sparky tooks really nice

My females are in the 55gal community, but my boys are in separate tanks simply because I've wanted to avoid problems with them...[but...lol]

Spark is a nice fish BTW but she's the head b so she's the most aggressive[but luckily doesn't hurt the other girls]. :P

My 55 is as cloudy as can be, but I'm pretty sure the garlic treatment for the IP's is working. My mom agreed to let me move that tank in my room...so it shouldn't be much longer before this tank is setup.

Thanks! I'll pass the compliment onto him...

As for the problems, they just come with fishkeeping...part of the fun!

Update:

Roger died today. Stormy moved to the 55gal aquarium where she is ok. On a slightly off topic note, I've lost 2 koi in my pond where Roger died. Atleast one more fish is on his deathbed; a one eye white common goldfish; floating around the pond aimlessly. My guess is the water is toxic as h*ll from BP's major screw-up.

Anyways; This current plan has been stopped. Since I only have 1 goldfish left...I'm just going to keep him in the 55 until he died and have this a planted low SG[1.006] brackish tank.

Inhabitants will be:
1x Figure-8 Puffer
3x Bumble Bee Gobies
