I also removed all of the large corydoras catfish and there were some Guppies that I got rid of now I'm looking to get some pygmy corydoras and shrimps.

Current fish count is: 14 neons 6 bloodfins 1 oto. Plan on getting 6 more bloodfins and several pygmy corys. Overstocked has worked well with this tank so far crazy plant growth and nearly no algae.

Beautiful tank. I've been thinking of a cube tank, as I've just the spot for one in my living room.

No best way, any of those will work. I like cotton thread just because it degrades by itself overtime. I would recommend getting more Otos maybe a group of 5 or 6 instead of getting other fish.

That's a nice looking cube! What are the names of the plants?

Also, what kind of substrate are you running?
