180 Gallon Build

Hi Everyone,

I purchased a 180 used off of Craigslist this past week. The tank needs to be resealed and didn't show any signs of cracks. However, the top center braces seem a little warped from years of lighting from the previous owner. I was wondering if this should be of concerned or if I should contact my LFS to order a new rim for my 180. Has anyone here ever replaced their rims, and if so was it difficult to do?

I can post photos when I get home from work.

Thank you,

I have the same problem. I cannot seem to find a new rim, I looked at all retailers online and all my LFS's. If you find a new rim please let me know!
