You need some type of fertilizer. What is your ammonia reading? Do you have fish?

Bacteria bloom?? When I was starting my 27g the water got cloudy white too, it was also planted with snails while it was cycling. What I did was that I took a dirty sponge from a filter in another established tank and squeezed all of the gunk out of it into the water close to the filter intake = almost instant cycle! The water cleared up over night.

If you have an established tank, you can seed the filter media for your new tank in the old one. I put the media in a mesh bag and let it hang out for a couple of weeks.

I think I figured out the issue. I have been useing RO water only for this tank from day 1, that combined with a slow cycle and no dirt, just black sand probably has caused an bacteria bloom AND the plants hsve not been getting ANY minerals from the water since I dont have ferts.
The plan is to do 80% water change tomorrow morning with 100% tap water + prime.
Lets hope in time these plants will make a come back.
