Using pearling to counteract high CO2?

Since installing my new light I have cranked up the CO2 didn't really dial it down to drop checker was showing bright yellow. I thought my fish would be gassed but I have been seeing nothing of the sort. I did a trim on my stem plants so when they are pearling heavily they are releasing a stream of O2 bubbles that fill the entire tank. Is this release of O2 enough that it's counteracting the CO2?

This is what the O2 stream looks like and it's happening all over the tank.

The plants in the video are getting about 600 PAR.

I do believe that under conditions we see in aquariums, O2 and CO2 concentrations remain independent. If that is the case, I wouldn't worry about the pearling affecting your CO2, in fact, it's a very good sign that your plants are making use of it.

Yeah I am trying to figure out if I should dial down the CO2 or just leave as-is since everyone is happy.

Just watch your fish. A yellow drop checker is just the beginning. The pearling is just a symptom of more oxygen being released into the water column than the water can absorb. CO2 is somewhat independent of that, as you can have a lot of O2 in the tank but can still poison fish with too high of a CO2 level. Since your fish are acting fine, you should be in good shape.
