Cidex Omnicide same as Metricide?

I am starting a nano with 2 plants. Glosso and Blyxa with DSM and then just carbon dosing. On the bay there is this cheap metricide 14 for $20.99 free ship but it says cidex metricide omnicide 14-day. This the same thing?

Both are 2.6% glut but just a warning that dealer on ebiy was less than optimal when i dealt with him. lied to me that it was shipped. never shipped it until i complained. of course the picture was for metricide and you get omnicide, ebiy refunded me. if you google omnicide you would find it cheaper than that dealer. one site said omnicide is not fda approved for clinical use in US, whatever that means. I ended up just buying metricide from another dealer.

I have dealt with the same seller, I thought I was getting metricide and got omni.

Im not a fan, it foams up a TON and smells like mint, its not the same as metricide as most think.

i purchased metricide14 and was shipped omnicide from likely the same fellow on ebay. it works from what i can tell since it is 14-Day Glutaraldehyde at 2.6%.

I got the same stuff from the same guy, out of Florida?

It seems to work, it's labeled 2.6% glut. Came with the activator separate, just like the name brand stuff. It's working from what I can tell and doesn't seem to be harming any flora or fauna.

I got the same stuff from the same guy, I haven't had an issue. Seems to be the same thing.

Do you think someone "helped" and added the activator for you? I can't imagine it foaming!
