which nutrient deficiency? (includes pretty pictures to look at)

(nevermind the date on the photo - it's my kid's camera - wife took mine)

so what's the deal? This happened since I've started dosing AquaFertz Total and Trace (from aquariumplants.com). The closest match from the above abbreviated guide would be potassium, but even that's not quite right from the description. Besides, this happened over top of those AquaFertz that are pretty comprehensive.

(here's a link to the AquaFertz if you care to review the content)

Other than a bit of curling on one of my other plants (which I'm ready to write off as co2 deficiency - high demand plant, before I had co2 going), everything else in the tank is doing fantastically.

Any thoughts out there?

Is this what a leaf would look like if it was damaged, like a stem bent/broke and I didn't notice?

Curling is another way of plants saying I'm over fertilized. I could be wrong when it comes to aquatic plants, but for terrestrials that is a sign of over ferts

I hadn't come across that, and I did a healthy amount of searching about that curling. Thanks!

I guess I should break these tabs in half then? Or put them farther away from the roots? I only put the substrate tabs in after I've done a 50% water change and vacuumed the gravel, approx monthly. I don't do water column fertz at all - the Total and Trace tabs is where it starts and stops for me.
