So it seems every time I use this, my water gets all cloudy for a couple days after. has anyone had any experience with this?

The same thing happens to me as well. Like you said it usually goes away after a couple days. There was another thread about this not to long ago.

Re: Seachem Flourish Iron cloudy water?

Cloudy as in milky? If so it might be bacterial bloom.

Do you also dose phosphates at the same time? You might be complexing the iron and making it insoluble.

From what I gather precipitation seems to be a common occurrence with Seachem iron. The form of iron they use is susceptible to oxidizing but readily available to plants. If the KH is high or you use buffering agents this can happen. If this is the case you may want to consider changing to a stronger chelator instead of gluconate such as EDTA. This should prevent the precipitation if it's caused by elevated KH or other buffering agents. As homemadepopcorn said dosing phosphate at the same time can cause precipitation as well.
