I bought my dry fertilizers at a hydroponics store. My husband grows some plants hydroponically and when I complained to him about not being able to find KNO3 or KH2PO4 he told me his hydroponic store supplied it. I paid $13 for 2 large containers of the stuff. If you have a hydroponic store or two in your town and didn't want to wait for shipping, you could give this a shot. Not all of them carry it though, I know I visited a few who told me that I was better off buying pre-mixed but I ignored them I know I could get it cheaper on-line but I don't think the extra cost of purchasing locally is really a huge deal and I like not having to wait for shipping.

Sometimes I wish my hobby didn't involve water
