Dry Fertilizers - which ones go together & which don't?

I was planning on switching to making up my own fertilizers from dry. I just noticed in another post where Hoppy mentioned that you shouldn't mix phosphorus and iron together in the same fertilizer mix because they will produce an insoluble precipitate.

Are there other combinations to avoid besides phosphorus and iron?

I'd like to get down to just one or two bottles to dose a day. Currently I'm dosing flourish comp, flourish iron, flourish potassium and excel. I don't dose phosphorus due to using Neutral Regulator which is a phosphorus based buffer.

As long as you keep the potassium (dihydrogen) phosphate and the trace mix separate, everything is will be fine.

Most people like to mix their macronutrients in one bottle, their trace mix/micronutrients in another bottle, and dose each on alternating days.

You probably could eliminate the neutral regulator (phosphate based) buffer; there is really no need for this.

I was reading about making your own root tabs with dry ferts and clay. I did some google searching and had a hard time finding a place to buy dry ferts.

Where is a good place to buy dry ferts like KN03, MgsO4, K2SO4, KH2PO4, CASO4? Is there any one place or do I have to piece it out?

A few TPT members sell them on the forums as well

You can buy large 50lbs bags of most fertilizers from farm supply stores, etc.
