API Leaf Zone Liquid Fert.

This is what I have been using for the last month. Is it any good, should I keep using it? I have low light plants and dose weekly as per instructions

I am switching to a LED light (maybe the StingRay) because I don't know if my Java Fern looks crappy because of the current light or the ferts.

Help Please!

I think leaf zone is just potassium and iron. You need other micros and macros.

Leaf zone AFAIK is just potassium and iron as Latchdan had said. This is fine in low tech tanks which are stocked heavily, but its still a good idea to dose all the micro and macro nutrients especially if your plants are having issues.

My other plants seem to be doing fine but is there a (cheapish) liquid fertilizer you would recommend? Someone on another forum mentioned it could be lack of iron in the tank thats causing my java fern to look the way it does but if Leaf Zone is all iron and potassium I guess thats not it

What do you consider cheap? Sometimes cheap ends up costing you more money in the long run. Look for a good liquid fertilizer which provides all the macros(NPK) and micros.
