Unfortunately this tank is going to be taking a huge step back before it grows back in. Seems that all the crypts were quite happy with the buffering effects of the onyx sand that was previously used (kept the ph ~7). Now with the PH lowering azoo substrate I'm seeing significant "crypt melt" that I haven't seen before when just moving/replanting.
The Red Cherries are enjoying the heck out of it though, shouldn't have to feed them for a few weeks.
