Tell me some names of interesting Cryptocorynes that are colorful (that don't need medium-high light to be colorful) and have unique leaf shapes and textures. Also, I want to get crypts that aren't outrageously expensive (no more than $25 for a crypt). Please include pictures of you have any! This will help me plan for my low light planted tank. Thanks!
The way I answer this type of question for myself is to Google "cryptocorynes", and switch the readout to images. Then I can see many varieties in photos, and click them if I'm interested to read more about them. However, finding a specific variety to buy may be another problem.
I've not been able to find wendtii brown the past couple years at any fish store, believe it or not. It looks like a nice plant.
